<para>Unter &Linux; werden die angezeigten Informationen aus der Datei <filename class="devicefile">/proc/pci</filename> gewonnen. Diese Datei ist nur verfügbar, wenn das Pseudo-Dateisystem <filename class="directory">/proc</filename> in den Kernel kompiliert worden ist. Es wird eine Liste aller während des Boot-Vorgangs erkannten <acronym>PCI</acronym>-Geräte und deren Konfiguration angezeigt.</para>
